About Ecosnap
ECOSNAP was born out of real-world experience and frustration with the challenges faced in the energy-saving sector. Having worked within a number of engineering and ECO companies for many years, we saw firsthand how much of a problem it was to get the right pictures, paperwork, and compliance in order — issues that slowed jobs down and caused endless headaches for engineers, installers, and managers alike.
Our founder brings a unique mix of experience from both the public and private sectors, having been SC cleared and earned SAP PS / PLM certification with expertise in PPM and PP. Beyond the technical background, years spent on the ground in ECO 1, ECO 2, ECO 3, and ECO 4 schemes gave us a true understanding of the day-to-day challenges in this industry.
From attending surveys at 7:30 in the morning, to rushing flues to engineers mid-installation, to hearing the frustrations of engineers balancing paperwork with safety and heavy equipment — these experiences shaped our vision. Too often, conversations with colleagues and friends in the trade revolved around jobs not going through because of paperwork errors, incorrect photos, or missing details.
That’s why we created ECOSNAP: a simple, effective solution designed to take the stress out of compliance and documentation, so engineers can focus on what matters most — doing the job safely and effectively.
